From 3rd to 6th March, QTI landed in Barcelona to participate as one of the 2900+ Exhibitors at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. QTI was among the few companies present at MWC representing this innovative field.
QTI deploys Quell-X QKD devices to secure communications in the metropolitan area of Lisbon
On 18th November, QTI and Telsy, together with MEO, presented live at the European Quantum Technology Conference (EQTC 2024) a trial of QKD-enabled quantum secure communications over combined live terrestrial and submarine fibre optics in Lisbon.
QTI, Telsy and Sparkle secure a high-capacity link by QKD in the metropolitan area of Athens
QTI, together with TIM Group’s companies Sparkle and Telsy, successfully implemented a high-capacity link between two data centers in Athens, secured with Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). This achievement demonstrated TIM’s ability to deliver QKD secured connectivity services on an existing network.

From 24 to 28 March 2024, QTI participated in the OFC 2024 Conference and Exhibition taking place at the San Diego Convention Center, USA. QTI’s DV-QKD systems were used for a live QKD demonstration within the OFCnet initiative.
High-Dimensional Quantum Key Distribution for the Internet of the Future
QTI contributed to the first demonstration in realistic environment of a quantum communication with multidimensional quantum states over special state-of-the-art optical fibers conducted at the University of L’Aquila, Italy. The results are published in Nature Communications.
